The two principals of , Harlene Factor and Seth Factor, formed the company in 2000. Combining their specialties of computer technology, accounting and legal skills, "An idea was generated". Harlene is responsible for directing and managing the technical solutions, upgrades and enhancements for the product as well as the company's legal affairs. Holding both an MS in Mathematics and a JD, she has been in the computer field for over 30 years as a programmer/systems analyst and is currently a practicing attorney in New York. Seth is responsible for managing the functional accounting aspect of the product. Seth holds both a BS in Accounting from Albany State and a MBA in Taxation from Pace University and has worked in all areas of the accounting profession since 1997. He is a CPA and a partner in the hedge fund tax group of a major New York City accounting firm.
